Official Storage Agreement Requirements
These terms summarize the obligations, responsibilities, and conditions that apply to all vessels stored at Someone To Do It Marina & Boat Yard. They are derived directly from the official Storage Agreement signed by each owner.
Core Terms & Owner Responsibilities
All storage customers must comply with the following requirements to ensure safety, organization, and legal compliance.
Storage fees are due in advance on or before the first day of each month. Late balances incur a $10/day surcharge after the 3rd day.
Owners must maintain full insurance covering liability, loss, damage, and theft. If insurance is not maintained, storage is at owner’s risk.
Only approved individuals may access or work on the vessel. External contractors require marina approval and proof of insurance.
Trailers must have current tags and be kept in usable condition. Marina may perform repairs at owner’s expense if the vessel must be moved.
Engines and trim tabs must be up. Bimini tops, antennas, outriggers, and lights must be down.
Owners are responsible for cleanup and damages caused by oil or fuel leaks. Marina may act at owner’s expense to prevent environmental harm.
Owners may work on their boat Mon–Sat, 9am–5.30pm. No painting, major engine repairs, or extensive fiberglass work.
Marine waste must be removed from premises, not placed in dumpster. Regular trash must be placed in the dumpster — violations incur escalating fees and eventual contract termination.
Owner is responsible for preparing boat for storm, removing loose items, bimini tops etc. Someone To Do It staff will prepare at owners expense if not done. Yard closes 2 days before storm arrival. Mandatory storm‑secured formation: $200/storm. Inside storm storage: $2,000 per storm (based on availability).
Month‑to‑month requires 30‑day written notice. Annual contracts cannot be terminated except for vessel sale.
Marina is not liable for damage caused by weather, theft, vandalism, accidents, or acts of God. Owners indemnify the marina for losses arising from vessel operation or condition.
Marina personnel may move the vessel for inspection, relocation, repairs, or safety.
